AnythingElse: I visited this dentist three times, once for a check-up, and the next two times for specific treatment. I am a private patient and pay for my treatment. On the first two occasions, there was a minimal wait 10-15 minutes, The dentist was very friendly and competent and I was happy with my treatment. The reception staff were less than qualified to produce the necessary paperwork for my insurance claim. The third time I visited, I was sent upstairs to wait for my appointment. I was not informed of any delays or waiting time. I was left for 25 minutes of sitting outside the surgery, listening to the dentist, dental nurse and patient chatting about X-Factor. No-one came to see me, to inform me of any delay or to apologise for the wait. I left, informing reception on my way out that I was not prepared to wait that length of time for a scheduled appointment. I would recommend this dentist if you are an NHS patient as they are very good and very welcoming. The surgery is not proficient enough to run as a private practice in my opinion. It is not worth paying the extra.
