AnythingElse: I needed a crown and I was told by this dentist that it would have a "guarded prognosis". The preparation was done in about 15 minutes and then I was due to have a crown fitted but I spoke to a private dentist first. They said that there was no need for any guarded prognosis, it should be fine if the prep was done first. They spent an hour and a half extracting stuff doing the root canal work, then crowned it and it has been perfect. I then saw a documentary on TV exposing NHS dentists - many fit crowns without doing the root canal because they don't want to spend the time, resulting in an inferior outcome. I now believe this is one of those dentists. I now believe this is one of those dentists.
