AnythingElse: I have been a patient here for years and have found an excellent dentist, however i rang today to ask for an emergency appointment at 830pm fri.morning i told the receptionist i had been in severe pain for 2 days from more than one tooth and had no sleep and painkillers did not help. i was told that the dentist I prefer was off today and the other dentisit was fully booked. i was offered an appointment at 2.35pm on monday. i said i felt this was unacceptable and couldnt face another 3 days of pain. i was told if it was no better tomo to ring the out of hours service. very few questions were asked and i felt hurried on the phone....i have a very sore mouth too and had a mouth cancer scare in the late 90's and so was keen to be checked out. although i have been satified with the service so far apart from the fact the appointmants are always well behind the time they give you this is the first time i needed an emergency appointmant. i am afraid this is important to me -that if it happened again i would want to be seen prompty- and may consider cahnging dentists after this experience.
