AnythingElse: This Dentist should be avoided like the plague! My experience began in April when I underwent a filling. 2 months later, I returned in pain. I was told it was usual for a deep filling to ache upto 5 months later so they gave me amoxicillin,I dealt with it and the pain subsided shortly after The course of antibiotics. Then in October it flared up again, I had an X-ray and they gave me antibiotics. I was told I needed 2 root canals on 2 of my back teeth (one of those teeth was the problematic one) the dentist said my canals were too "small" therefore they had to refer me to a specialist. They estimated my treatment would be £500 per tooth and £450 per crown, and I required 2- that's £2000 which I did not have. I have since had a second opinion, this dentistry rubbished their claim, my canals are normal sized and has done the treatment on only 1 tooth and it cost me the grand total of £48 for treatment and £350 for. White crown. The second dentist also told me that the filing could well have caused the trauma on the nerve in the first place. I was also charged £37.50 each time, plus cost of antibiotics, only to be told by my new dentist it should be only £17.50 regardless of X-rays. total nightmare and If I hadn't got a 2nd opinion, I never would have known.
