AnythingElse: Today it was 25 minutes (record is 1 hour 20 mins for my wife) dentist late back from lunch. My appointment was for 13:30 ( 1st appointment after lunch) dentist came back in at 13:45 and I was called in at 13:55 with no apology. During my appointment I was offered an x-ray , but I had one 6 months ago which they had no record of and was no on my dental records( worrying). All in all if the receptionists and nurses prioritised patients not extending their breaks chatting this would be a decent surgery. They even offered me a full set of dentures even though I am missing only 2 teeth

AnythingElse: They managed to fit me in quickly at a sister practice, as I was in severe pain and had had 2 nights with no sleep over the weekend, an xray was done and a temporary filling put in and I was advised to make an appointment to have the tooth removed when I did I was told that the tooth could be fixed and didn't need to be removed. The pain decreased but did not go away so I went back and asked for further help I was told to take ibuprofen by a locum dentist. I went back again when my own dentist had returned and they did a permenant filing but I still had pain so they gave me a prescription for a special tooth paste this brouht the pain down to a level I could ignore, but seversal months later I am going to have to return for further treatment. I wish they had taken it out.

Improved: They could have informed people that they would not do brigde work under the NHS, i was told that i could have it done but the management said no £209 or £1600 yes private, if they dont want to do NHS patients they shouldent take them on
AnythingElse: Im having a problem with ADP and had to send this letter:- Dear ADP Iâve been in touch with your company over this issue, and explained why I had to cancel my appointment. But once again I have to explain so:- I donât have any money left.......................................... I did try and explain to your receptionist, who at the time was brilliant and understood my circumstances, and they informed me and my wife that I would be entitled to a refund as I have paid £165 out of the £209. The refund would be £77, but they needed the manager/manageress to sign off on it, will what can I say but once again this person said no, I had to finish the payments within the next two months or I would lose the money and would have to pay £209 again. The problem is in this climate of debt I had to make a decision and have no spare money left at all... cancelled! This is not the First time this person has said no to me, the treatment I asked for on the NHS (2 years ago), Bridge work you said no, the dentist said Yes and was happy to do the work, but the next time i came in he informed you said no, but if I was to pay private a total of over £1600 then I could have it.The problem was the dentist said this time are we doing the brigde work! I have informed the NHS of this matter and I will not be coming back unless I get the refund and better treatment from the manager/manageress. If you donât want NHS patients donât take them on. Yours Not Every Happy

Improved: Customer relations but all staff. The dentist failed to explain any of the treatment they were going to do, failed to even ask if I wanted an local anesthetic when carryout fillings and only asked if I wanted local anesthetic when it was clear that the drilling was causing severe pain! It was clear the dentist simply wanted me in and out as quickly as possible. No patient care evident, no communication by dentist. I have never been worked about going to the dentist or treatment I have received by previous dental practices but I was physically shaking after this appointment. I will never go back and if this is the state of nhs dental treatment now the. I would rather pay!
AnythingElse: See above I was disgusted with the service I received
