AnythingElse: I don't understand the other reviews, I have always received excellent service from ADP. We have seen both dentists at this practice and I would recommend either of them. Recently, my daughter fell and one of her teeth came out completely. I phoned ADP and they saw her straight away and fitted us in for a review appointment a week later.

AnythingElse: I had a root canal filling without being told what this was or meant. The drill bit broke and has been left in my tooth root. I have been in pain and have had too many discussions about money rather than the details of my treatment . I am not seeking a second opinion and possibly surgery to remove it and save my tooth.

AnythingElse: Do not answer the phone, even after half an hour of ring-ring. despite multiple phone calls. Not interested in pain. 3 months minimum waiting list. 6 months for routine work. Have no idea about carer's needs to know in advance. Have no idea about special needs patients. Very likely to say "just whip it out" instead of mending teeth Very likely to refer to hospital, and not follow up. Dental emergencies, ie in pain, do not expect to be helped for months or years. Remaining anon as negativity will likely impact any "care"

Liked: Friendly dentist , reasonable time-keeping (appointment time kept), text reminders for appointments
Improved: 1) reception staff: lack of response on phone, failure to activate answering machine while away, esp at lunch time 2) long waiting times for appointments (more availability from dentist? / flexibility?)
AnythingElse: Dentist in July 2012 spent less than 30 seconds de-scaling my teeth during yearly check-up (minimum effort for a cost of £18!), and did not suggest I see the hygienist, although my gums were bleeding. I took it upon myself to make an appointment with the practise hygienist (not-NHS). The dental hygienist was chatting away to assistant while carrying out treatment, instead of concentrating on the water running out of my mouth! In consequence, added to the assistant's inability to correctly use the vacuum sucker, I left with the collar of my top completely wet.
